$5,000 gtd on I POKER (blue square)
Just started in the $5k gtd on betfred not much happening at the minute. The table so far has been loose aggressive so trying not to get involved at present.
Most probably keep it tight for know and see what I can pick up.
Managed to pick up pocket aces in middle position. Guy on my right raises 6xbb he is a full fish so i re raise him to 990 blinds are 30/60 and im sure he will call. He does and the flop comes ace high but 2 clubs. He pushes all in with his A6 and of course i call. He hits 2 pair shortly before hitting the rails.
Very next hand i look down at qq. I make it 180 to go and get 1 caller.
Flop comes 10 high i bet he calls. I bet the turn and the river he calls with pocket 8's and didn't improve.
25 hands played chip count is 6,500...
utg min raises and get caller from second position, on the button i get 66 I raise up to 360 utg calls (fish) other guy folds.
Flop comes three clubs he chks i bet half pot he folds.
Next hand is a monster. I get qq on the cut off couple of limpers i raise up to 180 guy on button goes all in fish on bb calls other limper calls. I re raise all in and they both call.
I have qqvs A4, A8, and K9 they don't improve and I win a monster pot.
28 hands played chip count 14,240t....
Maybe the poker gods have decided to give me a break after the luck i have had today in the sit n go's.
Not much been happening had a couple of pocket pairs still around the 15k mark...
Just lost a pot big chip stack moved to the table and gettin on like he owns it came in for a rse and i ended up mixing it up with him and lost lol 12k.
Still not much happening had a go at my first blind steel and got re rsed had to fold bad timing lol..
Blinds now at 300/600 my chip count is 11k not seeing many hands and short stacks to my left shoving all in doesn't help matters
Blinds got to 400/800 when i pushed in mid position with aj std to get a caller with 68 off. He flopped trip 8's and when the 6 arrived on the turn i could safly say I was beat.
With me only having 2 bb left I pushed when 89 std to find the bb waking up with pocket queens.
No help for me and I was out of there in 21st with the comp pauing top 20.......
